Ask A Question

Feel free to ask anything you want and I will do my best to answer it. A couple of things to note first.

  1. I can't pretend to have all the answers, nor can anyone. I have completed Yeesha's Journey, the garden Ages, the pod Ages, and completed the Great Zero missions, but as new stuff opens, I will be exploring just like you.

  2. I don't go for spoilers myself. If you want every detail, there are plenty of walkthroughs in some of the sites on the left, but I lean toward little hints. If you want a detailed solution instead of a hint, just ask.

  3. I will clearly mark spoilers in my responses. I will also moderate posts by others so that no one who doesn't want to be spoiled will.

Hi--i just started MOUL as a Visitor. This morning I met some people in the Bevin, but I couldn't tell if they could see ("hear") me chatting. I could see everything they were saying, but no one responded directly to me. Do you know if I have to be a "paid" Explorer before I can actually interact?

I've chatted with a number of vistors so I know you don't have to pay for that feature. Glitches do happen. My advice would be to log in and try again.

It's also possible people weren't replying to you. I know this may seem rude but if you were in a Bevin where people were playing "in character" they may not even want to acknowledge they are playing a video game.

Some folks take this aspect of Uru very seriously, but certainly not everyone. Try some other Bevins. My experience with people in Uru is that they are, as a group, very friendly and helpful.

Another possiblity that didn't occur to me until just now was that if there were a lot of people there (over 15 or so) then you may need to use /shout to be heard. You preface what you type with /shout. Example: /shout Can anyone hear me?
